Google maps miles off on Barcelona hotel

hotel sofiaI’m a big fan of Google maps.

But sometimes they get things very very wrong. In January I posted this example of them getting the location of the San Francisco international airport way wrong.


The screenshot linked above is supposed to show the location of the hotel Princesa Sofia in Barcelona. They have the address right, the zip code looks about right, but the location is about 30 miles off.

Caveat turista.

    My Thoughts on New Victorian Suites

    I have recently stayed at New Victorian Suites in Lincoln, Nebraska and wanted to share with you guys my experience. I usually don’t do this type of thing, but they really surprised me in terms of the quality of service.

    The room were exceptionally clean, the beds and furniture were brand new just like you would find in high hotels, and most importantly, they responded quickly with any sort of request.

    If you’re around Lincoln, Nebraska anytime soon, consider New Victorian Suites.
